Epilogi: Ikuisuus

A/N: Tässäpä vielä viimonen kurkistus Nathanielin ja Brycen ikuisuuteen.
Stoori on saanut nimen: "Lumihiutalesydän"

Special treat on X-mas 2010:

Epilogi: Ikuisuus

”Pikkuhiljaa.” Hymyilin tyytyväisenä nuollen punaisen nektarin tahrimia sormiani autuaana.
”Hmm... menisimmekö sängyn kautta?” Nathaniel kysyi silmät palaen halusta katsellessaan kieleni liikettä lasin pinnalla. En vastannut mitään, vaan pinkaisin yliluonnollisen notkeasti juoksuun ja sekunnin murto-osassa seisoin tuon yleellisen sängyn vieressä. Nathaniel kietoutui ympärilleni vain murto-osa myöhemmin. Ikuisuuteni oli alkanut liekehtivissä merkeissä enkä halunnut tuon liekin sammuvan enää koskaan. Lumihiutale kaulallani kimmelsi kynttilöiden valossa, kun Nathanielin palvovat kädet löysivät jälleen vartaloni joka sopukan. Tällä kertaa hänen ei tarvinnut varoa eikä minun tarvinnut pelätä hänen menettävänsä itsehillintänsä. Kaikki rajat oli rikottu ja ylitetty eikä mikään erottanut minua enää koskaan lumihiutalesydämestäni; Nathaniel, tuo jumalainen petoni.

Aika ei merkinnyt mitään, oli vain ikuisuus.

Magic pt. 9

A/N because Draco Malfoy is hotter than hell. Yeah, J.K. Rowling owns these amazing characters, except for Ann, Vicky, Janus and the elves, and the wizard world.

Magic pt. 9

“Let me go!” I screamed.
“No, we are going to have some fun first.” He said and ripped my shirt. “Hmm... Nice...”
“You... You ripped my shirt, asshole!” I screamed and started to panic.
“Yes, and oops, there goes the jeans.” He grinned maliciously and removed rest of my clothes. Suddenly I just stopped fighting and closed my eyes. I just lied still and hoped that he would go away, but he didn't. Viciously he thrust into me and I screamed from pain. He raped me and no one made a move to stop him. I couldn't scream and I couldn't move. He had hexed me, and now he was using me for his disgusting manly urges. He violated me physically and mentally. I just kept my eyes closed until he stopped.
“Goyle!” An imperative voice shouted and he stopped. I stared at him with widened eyes tears running down my cheeks. “What did you do moron! Stupefy!” Janus shouted and Goyle lumped against the dining room wall. Suddenly I felt something run off me and I screamed. I was totally naked and shaking on the table covered with bruises and some blood on my tights. Janus took his robe off and covered me with it. “Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you.” He said with a cold voice.
“No... He did... You're all disgusting!” I shouted and tried to stand, but my knees gave up. He grabbed my hand and dragged me with him to the large library room. He put me on the couch and healed my wounds with magic, but I didn't feel any better. I felt horror, pain and numbness, I knew that he would kill me sooner or later. Hour dragged, but I couldn't think anything. I was numb. I sat in my room that Janus had given me, of course there were spells in the windows and door preventing my escape.

“Knock, knock. It's time to tell where's Malfoy.” Janus said quietly and stepped in.
“Sorry... I don't know.” I whispered. If I couldn't save myself, I could still protect the ones I love.
“You do... So spit it out darling. I don't like hurting you.” He warned and sat next to me.
“No. I won't tell you anything. You're all psychopaths.” I grimaced and gulped. I was playing with my life now.
“Well then. Have it your way... Crucio!” He shouted and I felt air running out from my lungs. I felt pain impale through me and I screamed. “Now, where is Malfoy?” He continued while I tried to breath.
“I-i-i w-w-w-i-i-ll n-n-ot t-t-t-ell y-y-you a-a-a-ny-t-t-th-ing.” I stammered and felt the pain again when he cursed me again. I wasn't sure how many of those I could take.
“Well... I will get that out of you sooner or later dear.” He grinned and left me. I tried to breath, but my lungs didn't seem to work... My chest was on fire and it burned every time I tried to catch my breath. I curled myself on the gigantic bed and pulled the blanket over me hoping the pain to end. I fell into a vivid dream and woke up to my own scream. I saw a shadow standing next to my bed.
“Bloody hell that hurts... You're lucky that master wants to keep you himself. Otherwise I would have gotten my ways with you, you filthy muggle bitch.” A voice hissed and then the shadow left. I understood that Janus had charmed my bed also to guarantee my sleep. I was grateful, though I knew he would torture me again. He was a sadistic person and obviously loved to make me scream, not in a way I would like it. He loved to play with me in a very brutal and painful way.

I fell into a reckless dream again and woke up to a small push. I opened my eyes carefully and saw one of elves next to me.
“Miss, master wants you to the dining room. He wants you to wear this dress and to make yourself pretty.” The elf said with a small voice.
“Thanks. What's your name?” I asked sweetly.
“I'm not supposed to chat with master's quests miss.” The elf said and hid his face.
“I won't tell him.” I promised and tried to smile a bit.
“Knotty.” He said and hid his face again.
“Nice to meet you Knotty, I'm Ann. Could you help me a bit?” I asked and the elf nodded. “Could you send a message to Dippy at the Ministry of Magic?”
“Cousin Dippy? Knotty knows Dippy very well...Knotty is not allowed to talk other elves outside the house.” Knotty beamed and then seemed to be ashamed of his sudden exhilaration.
“It'll be our secret... Tell Dippy that Miss Ann needs mister Malfoy here now. Big trouble. Can you do that as soon as possible?” I begged and the elf seemed to hesitate.
“Knotty will try, because miss Ann is so kind.” He promised and disappeared with a snap.
I started to clean myself up. The thickest make up couldn't hide the nasty blue bruise on my cheek. I still tried and after half an hour I was finally satisfied with my looks. I took a painful breath and walked slowly through the corridors towards the dining hall. I really hoped that Knotty could the the message to Draco, and these monsters wouldn't notice anything.
“Well, look at you Miss Langdon. You look nice.” Janus said when I walked into the dining room.
“Save it... I really don't want to speak with you.” I hissed and he scowled at me.
“You know, with the Merwyn The Malicious' book I actually don't need you. Finding Potter is easier though with your co-operation.” He amused.
“I.Will.Not.Tell.You.Anything.” I said with a venomous tone.
“Tut tut, don't be so venomous my love, we could actually have fun.” He said and levitated some salad towards me.
“Fun? You think that torturing and raping women is fun?!? You're sick bastard!” I shrieked and accidently swiped the crystal salad bowl down from the table. It shattered into million pieces.
“Ouch! You broke my mother's wedding gift...” Janus said monotonously and fixed the bowl with a spell.
“Sorry to hear that. I'll bet your mother would've been very disappointed. But hey, wasn't she killed by the Order Of The Phoenix?” I pushed and he snapped.
“That's it! Crucio!” He screamed and I fell backwards on my chair. “I'm trying to treat you nicely, but you make it impossible. You asked for this missy!” He threw the curse again and my world went black. Dead. I was sure that that was it. All together dead. Draco was out there looking for me, hopefully thanks to Knotty. I sighed and the painful darkness surrounded me.

“Well, well bloody Janus Lestrange. Aunt Bella mentioned you couple of times, messing with the dark forces are we?” I heard a familiar voice through the darkness.
“Draco Malfoy... Traitor... Got your girl you know, quite a catch.” Janus hissed and Draco growled.
“You're not getting away with this...” He hissed and Janus laughed.
“Am I not? What are you going to about it... cousin?”
“I'm going to kill you. Like we killed your mother, Janus.” Draco hissed and then I saw a huge lightning.
“Crucio!” Janus snarled and Draco threw a stupefying spell the same time. They both fell backwards.
“Malfoy! He has the book!” I heard Hermione's voice and then someone throw another spell. Suddenly the air was filled with blue and green flames whirling around the hall. The wizards were moving around so quickly that it made me dizzy. Suddenly I saw everything in slow motion; a small figure appeared and bit into one of the death eaters whose spell shot straight towards their master. Janus did react but not fast enough; the spell hit his arm and it burned down with awful scream and smell of a burning flesh. He was furious; with a wave of his wand he put the small creature down and shot Harry straight into his face. Then I saw the small creature, it was Knotty, the house-elf. Hermione screamed and shot an unforgivable curse straight towards Janus who blocked it with a menacing laugh.
“You think you can kill me mudblood? Think again. I'm the dark lord, I've...” His phrase was cut short when a crucio spell hit him and he fell down.
“You're nothing! Nothing! And I will kill you, slowly, I will cruciate you until you're nothing but a pile of pathetic flesh!” Draco shouted and Janus twitched as a nother spell hit him.
“Draco, Draco, stop! He's down, I've got his wand and the book. Leave him be, the aurors are on their way, Draco please...” Hermione begged but Draco was off the limits, he was totally furious and finished his cousin with Avada spell. Hermione stared his ex-boyfriend in shock.
“No.More.Shit.From.My.Family.Ever.Again.” He hissed.
“Draco...” Hermione whispered, but he ignored her. He couldn't handle his fury anymore. With numerous spells he destroyed all there ever was in the room. I drifted into a darkness again.

I wasn't exactly sure how long I was out, but when I woke up, or at least I thought I did, I found myself on a white comfortable bed surrounded by bright lights. I tried to move, but I couldn't.
“Don't move.” A sweet female voice whispered. I tried to turn my head towards the voice but I couldn't. Suddenly I saw Hermione's worried face hovering above me. “How's your back? There are several cracks in your spine, so I had to make you stay still.... Sorry.”
“D-d-raco?” I stammered and she nodded.
“He's outside. He hasn't left your side while you've been out.” She answered and disappeared from my sight. A minute later I heard a familiar voice behind the door and then a gasp next to my bed.
“Ann...” Draco whispered and his face appeared where Hermione had been a minute ago.
“Are you ok?” I asked and he made me a face.
“Am I ok? You're the one with a cracked spine and coma and you ask me if I'm ok...” He started but then his tone melted and he lowered his lips to mine.
“Mmm... How long was I out?” I asked against his careful lips.
“Five months...” He said hesitantly.
“Five? Oh...” I gulped.
“Yes... We were sure that you were gone...” He mumbled and closed his eyes in pain.
“Sorry... But I'm alive... A bit handicapped though...” I said smiling lightly.
“You are... But Hermione has been here all the time... I mean working with spells to wake you up.... And we've been talking...” He continued and looked at me warily.
“Oh... So you're good then?” I asked.
“Yeah... sort of. She wants us to her wedding... And by the way Blaise and Vicky got engaged.” He said smiling a bit.
“Oh my goddess! That's so great! And I would love to participate Hermione's wedding... I mean if you want too.” I beamed and he laughed.
“Let's try to get you on your feet first. I'm so relieved you know... I've been kind of lost without you.” He admitted and my heart melted.
“I love you.” I answered and he kissed me again.
“How's the book? And Janus?” I asked suddenly.
“Janus is dead and his followers are locked up at Azkaban. The book though has some kind of spell on it so that we can't read it... Pages are blank.” He explained and disappeared from my sight.
“I hate when you all do that...” I whined but smiled when Ginny's face appeared above me. She was crying and babbling how glad she was that I was alive and awake.

I was getting exhausted and after a while Hermione ordered everyone out except Draco who refused to leave the room. With a sigh she finally agreed and made a bed for him next to me. With a warning tone she made him swear that he would let me rest and he promised. Then I was out again. This time I dreamed, I dreamed about me and my Slytherin God.

Magic pt. 8

A/N Viimeisen elokuvan ensimmäisen osan (Harry Potter siis) kunniaksi kaivelin tämän seuraavan luvun tästä Draco Malfoy -ficistä....

A/N This is for the last Potter-film, I mean the first half of it. And still cannot believe that I wrote this in ENGLISH

--- I still don't  own Draco or the wizarding world, they belong to the amazing J.K.Rowling.

Magic pt. 8

The week passed quickly and I managed to get free from work to keep company for Draco, who was impatient and whined about being helpless. Hermione came to check on him and he kept his tongue, though I could sense the tension between them.
“Bones are healed, so no Skele-Gro. He should use a walking stick for a week, but otherwise everything' s back to normal. No headache?” She explained professionally and Draco shook his head. “Good. Then you're ok.”
“Thanks Hermione. Would you stay for tea?” I smiled at her, but she seemed uneasy.
“I..I should get going. Ron's waiting...” She said quietly.
“Oh, sorry to keep you. Talk to you later. Coffee sometimes?” I asked and walked her to the Floo.
“It would be nice. I'm sorry that things between me and your boyfriend are a bit... odd...” She apologized.
“Nothing to be sorry about. He is just stubborn... Well, you know it. But talk to you soon. And Thanks again... for both of us.” I said and hugged her.
“No problem. See you.” She smiled and Flooed away. I sighed and couldn't help myself from thinking the situation between her and Draco. Then a familiar velvet voice interrupted my thoughts.
“Ann!” Draco called and I rushed upstairs a bit panicked.
“What?” I asked frightened.
“Nothing. Come here.” He purred and grabbed my waist.
“Behave mister! You're still recovering.” I gasped while his anxious lips run down to my collarbone and hands brushed my breasts.
“I will not.” He murmured and rolled me under him. “I'm going to make love to you whole night through and you're going to love it.”
“I love you already.” I giggled and fiercely he pressed his hot lips against mine.

And then I was all his. It was magic, it was something I'd missed, something more passionate and something I wanted again and again. And he kept his promise, he gave me all the satisfaction I'd needed, all night through. His expert hands were all over me and his tongue made wonders between my legs. I was totally his. It was nearly four in the morning, when we finally nestled close to each others.
“You're totally healed...” I said and grinned.
“I am now.” He amused and kissed my head.
“I should probably get some sleep... I got go to work...” I mumbled.
“It's Sunday. You've got work on Monday, love.” He corrected and I nodded, I was too tired and too comfortable to answer. “Sleep tight. I love you.”
“Love you too.” I mumbled and fell asleep.
___________________________
Monday morning came sooner than I thought. I dragged myself up from the warmth of bed and took a shower. I was dressed in twenty minutes and tiptoed downstairs. I wasn't alone, my heart jumped when I heard noise from the kitchen.
“Coffee for the undead muggles.” I heard an amused voice saying.
“Morning... I forgot that you will go to work today. So you're starting the supervisor thingie today?” I asked and yawned.
“Yes, today is my first day as an head of the Aurors.” Draco clutched and I gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
“Gosh, it's Monday and Ernie makes me to place the orders for the upcoming week... Lots of booze and food supplies. Nice...” I whined and grimaced.
“I told you that you don't need to work...” He started.
“No. I do. I mean, what I'm supposed to do while you're at work? I cannot just sit here and do nothing. I'm not that kind of woman, you know.” I said sipping my coffee. “Would you please put the toaster on?”
“Sure. But girl, you know bloody well that I've got the Malfoy vault and all that's in there. And of course there's a safe here in the manor too.” He continued ignoring my glares.
“Whoah... Let's not discuss about this any further, ok!?” I snapped and grabbed the toasts. “Besides you already paid my new clothes and I practically live here for free.”
“We've been through this already. Now, excuse me, I need to get dressed.” He said wryly and left me sulking alone. After fifteen minutes he came downstairs fully dressed in his black suit. I stood up and went to the living room to give him a goodbye kiss. He glanced at me first, but then wrapped his arms around me and buried his face into my messy hair.
“Sorry...” I started, but he interrupted my apology with a deep kiss.
“I have to go. Are you ok?” He asked quietly.
“I am, if you are.” I answered and he smirked. He gave me a small kiss and squeezed me against him and then activated the Floo. Then he was gone with the green flames.

I sighed and went to get my purse and jacket. I rushed out and practically ran to the pub. It wasn't open yet, but Ernie, the chubby round faced half wizard was already there. Ernie was a wizard only from his father's side, his mother was a muggle like me, and they ran the pub for several years before Ernie took in.
“Ann! How are you girl? Is your man ok?” He asked and gave me a hug.
“I'm fine Ernie thanks. Yes, he is ok. He went to work today.” I laughed and hugged him back. Ernie was kind and very bubbly man with an excellent knowledge over muggle beers and ciders as well as the wizard ones. He had been delighted when I came in to ask for a job with Draco. He knew Draco very well and hired me right away. I liked to work for him, though bar work wasn't always the most pleasant job to do.
“Hey Ann...” He came to hesitantly while I was checking the cider cans at the storage room.
“Yeah?”
“Well... You were gone a while and I had to make Jess work extra hours and that kind of cost me a lot... So basically according to law I can only pay you for three days...” He said and gulped.
“It's ok. I knew that you were in trouble while I was gone. So don't worry, I'm good. Besides, I live with Malfoy, remember?” I grinned and he beamed.
“True. They've got loads of gallons.” He said.
“Yeah...” I muttered and continued counting the cans.

The usual customers were older men and some lunch eaters, who came to grab a sandwich or salad. I liked morning shifts because the people weren't so drunk or trying to hit me. The pub was traditional english pub with brown and green interiors. The rusty steel sign outside said “Chalice of malt”, it was old and belonged to Ernie's father. The name was supposed to sound muggle, but for me it was kind of funny, in a cute way. I didn't notice when two brown haired guys marched in in their robes. Ernie served them with firewhiskey and I could tell that they were wizards. The other was quite fat, but had a nasty scar on his cheek. Both of them had black circles around their eyes and their faces were pale. They hadn't probably slept much lately. They glanced around the pub while discussing quietly. Something told me that they weren't the nicest persons to be around, so I kept myself busy behind the bar.
“Oi, barkeeper!” I heard them call on Ernie.
“Yes Mr. Grabbe?” Ernie answered.
“Ernie old mate, have you heard anything about Malfoy lately?” He asked.
“Erh... No How's so?” Ernie answered hesitantly this time.
“Well, it would've been nice to catch up with him sometime. For old times' sake.” He continued grimacing venomously.
“Oh... well I will pass the message forward.” Ernie said and hurried to pour them another whiskey. “It's on the house.”
“Great.” They grinned and sipped the glasses empty. They hadn't notice me and I decided to stay hide.
“Goyle, it's time to go. We can pay a visit later. We need to get to Janus and tell him that Malfoy has been here. The barkeeper lies.” Grabbe hissed quietly and I gulped. Who were these people? I watched them to walk out and then rushed to Ernie.
“Ernie! What's going on?!” I snapped.
“T-they were Vincent Grabbe nad Gregory Goyle... M-malfoy's old friends, the sons of D-d-d-eatheaters... T-t-they're malicious people.” He stammered.
“Death what? What are you talking about?! Answer me goddamit!” I shrieked out and he shuddered.
“D-d-deatheaters... The ones who followed the Dark Lord during the great war. It was five years ago. That's when Draco's mother got killed and his father was sent to Azkaban. He escaped and got killed by Harry Potter and his own son...Thing have been different after that; there's many bitter dark wizards, who try to wake up the most evil things again and that's why we need aurors, like your Draco and Potter.” He explained and sighed.
“And this has to do with the attack, where Draco nearly got killed?” I summed up.
“Y-yes.” He mumbled.
“Shit... Shit! Do me a favor; if they come back, don't tell them anything. Don't tell them about me. I need to talk to Draco and Harry about this.” I said and he nodded. We continued working, though I kept glancing towards the door all day, but they didn't return.

“I was so exhausted when I got home. I made myself a cup of chamomile tea to calm my nerves. I fell a sleep on the sofa and didn't hear Draco's appearing from the Floo. I was totally asleep, when I felt cold hand around me and warm breath against my neck.
“No, no! Get away from me!! Don't...Please!!!” I screamed and my eyes threw open in panick. “D-d-d-raco?”
“It's ok, love. I'm here. It was only a bad dream.” He murmured, I buried my face against his chest and wrapped my arms around him tightly. “What's wrong? I thought about you all day... After this morning and now...”
“I-I-I...We...There was...Some old friends of yours...” I managed to blurp out. He wrinkled his brows looking at me sharply.
“My friends... what?!!! Ann, you've got to tell me!” He shouted and shook me.
“I-I-I... E-ernie told me about the war and Deatheaters...They were Grab and something...” I whispered and his eyes went dark.
“Grabbe and Goyle... Fuck, this is not good. What are those two morons up to. Fuck...” He hissed. “What else happened? Tell me, love?”
“They came in and asked for you. Ernie didn't tell them anything and then I heard them talking about some Janus and something that they need to tell him. I don't know! Please... I don't want to lose you again!” I whispered tears running through my eyes.
“Shh... You're not going to lose me, love. I'm not going anywhere. I will not leave you, ever. I will protect you, it's ok.” He whispered and grabbed me into his lap hugging me gently.
“I think they've got the book...” I mumbled and sobbed against his black suit. The white shirt was probably ruined by now from my mascara, but he didn't care. He just held me and let me gather myself.
“I know. I need to meet Harry and Blaise tomorrow.” He said quietly and kissed me gently.
“Please, be careful...” I whispered and he squeezed me.
“I'm bloody Malfoy, remember?” He whispered and grinned. I smiled lightly and he kissed my eyes. “That's better.”
“What do you want for dinner?” I asked with a small voice and he clutched.
“I think that I'll take care of that.”
“Ok.” I muttered and rest my head against his warm chest. I breathed his scent and felt a sudden relief. I was home, he was there, he would protect me. “Draco?”
“Yes, love?” He asked softly.
“I feel safe with you. Please, don't ever walk away. I love you Malfoy.” I whispered and felt him gasp.
“Ann-Marie... I love you too. I haven't ever felt so complete. You're my light in the dark.” He murmured, and I raised my head to see his grey eyes looking at me full of emotion, I smiled.
“What are we going to eat?” I asked when my stomach announced about my lack of nutrition.
“Chinese. Coming right up.” He said and dialed the number for the small chinese place close to my work place. I smiled and went to get our chopsticks. We decided to watch some vampire movies while eating.

I woke up tired next morning. Draco was still asleep so I tiptoed quietly to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I looked out from the window, it was cold and windy. Quite depressing weather, and it didn't lift up my mood to notice that we'd ran out of coffee. I ran back upstairs and jumped to the bed. Gently I kissed Draco's lips and brushed his smooth blond hair away from his eyes. Slowly his eyes opened and a dreamy smile lightened his face. I kissed him again and felt his arms wrapping around me.
“Morning gorgeous.” He whispered.
“Morning hun, hey we're out of coffee... Could you please hex some? I definitely need to be caffeinated before work.” I begged and he smirked.
“My wand?”
“Here... Thanks love. By the way, I love your hair.” I smirked and kissed him.
“Mmmm... Can I be useful some other ways this morning Miss Langdon?” He purred and I smirked again.
“Sorry, gotta rush. But I'll keep that in mind. Love you!” I clutched and rushed downstairs. There it was the great smell of freshly toasted coffee, the black coffeemaker making me strong Arabic coffee. I smiled and thanked Merlin, that I had a wizard in the house. He was very handy. Suddenly I felt a warm breath against my neck, I smiled. I turned around wrapping my arms around his neck. His silvery eyes were full of love and his sexy tangled hair made him look like an angel. A bit fallen one though. I smiled and kissed him lightly.
“How about I'll come to get you for a lunch today?” He murmured into my ear and made me gasp.
“Sure... I would like that.” I whispered while his lips attacked my neck and my earlobe. An hour later I was ready to go to work, of course Draco didn't let me go so easily, so we end up making out on the dining table. He just was so passionate and irresistible.

I was still tired, but in a better mood thought the grey clouds were hanging low from the sky reminding me of the cold and wet Britain winter. I opened up the pub's door and greeted Ernie and Sam, who had already worked for two hours. Suddenly Ernie stopped and gulped.
“Mr. Goyle, Mr. Grabbe... What can I do to you at this hour in the morning?”
“Well Ernie... Mr. Lestrange is kind of disappointed that you didn't mention Malfoy's new shag working here.” Goyle hissed. I held my breath and slowly sneaked to the storage room hoping that they wouldn't find me.
“So, where is she?” Grabbe asked and stepped around the counter. I gulped and closed my eyes, this wasn't happening.
“She... S-s-she h-h-hasn't shown up y-y-yet...” Ernie stuttered.
“Really?” Goyle asked and started to walk towards the storage room. I felt a strong arm grabbing my hand and a rotten breath against my neck. “Well, well... She's hot. Malfoy still got the taste, though she is a muggle.” He dragged me out, while I desperately tried to squirm away from him. His held from my hand stiffened and I screamed from pain. He grinned evilishly.
“She is a piece of hot one.” Grabbe laughed and they dragged me out and left pale and trembling Ernie standing in the middle of the room.
“Let go of my arm, pig!” I lunged and felt another strong hand grabbing my hair. I winced from pain.
“Shut up bitch!” Goyle hissed and suddenly I felt the world spinning around me and then it was just darkness, I collapsed.

I opened my eyes. It was dark and wet and I couldn't see anything. I tried to scream, but no sound was coming from my mouth. It was some kind of basement and I could feel the cold breeze from the ground and I shivered. I heard a door creaking and steps coming down from the stairs. I moved backwards against the wall and hoped they wouldn't find me.
“Lumos.” A harsh snarling voice said. “Well, well, sleeping beauty finally woke up.” And then pale face with a narrow face and icy cld blue eyes came to my sight into the pale light coming from his wand. “I'm Janus Lestrange. You're Ann right? Malfoy's girl... Well, he does tend to get all the beauties. Will you join me for dinner?” His tone was calm and his black hair was shiny and made him look like a vampire. I shivered, he was a nightmare. He grabbed my arm and I had to stood up and follow him upstairs. It was a huge manor, bigger than the Malfoy's. It was decorated with Baroque style carvings and furniture, the dining hall was enormous. He lead me to the table and made me sit next to him. I was actually served by three house elves who looked afraid of their master. I felt sorry for them and already hated being there and hated that arrogant vampire looking wizard.
“Eat. I don't like skinny women.” He said and smiled. The smile made his face look even more terrifying. “Oh I forgot, the spell... I would like to have some chatting company since those two morons aren't that intelligent.” He waved his wand and I winced. “Now, how was your morning dear?”
“Like you care. Why are you doing this? Are you stupid enough to believe that you could get Draco into this with you?” I shouted and stood up.
“No. Our intention is to get Potter here and kill him. The Dark Lord will rule again. I WILL rule.” He hissed and forced me to sit down with a single wave of his hand. I scowled at him and refused to eat.
“Now. We have to find a nice way to spend our time while your precious Malfoy and his friends get here. I have few suggestions, but I would like to hear some of yours.”
“Fuck you. If you touch me, I will kill you.” I hissed and scowled at him.
“Tut tut, watch your tongue missy. That attitude doesn't fit to your lovely looks.” He amused and clapped his hands. Two elves appeared and took the dinner plates away. “Join me for a whiskey, will you?” He said and left the room. I stared after him and tried to figure out how to get out of there. I knew that the house was charmed, so I couldn't leave, but my mind made another plan. I smiled and hoped that Draco would save me, soon.
“Well well... I think I would like to try some... Because I know that Malfoy likes quality, so let's find out if you have some.” A harsh voice said and grabbed me painfully.

I probably fell asleep at some point, I wasn't sure. I didn't care. I just sat there and stare at the bed. I didn't notice when lights went off and I didn't notice when someone walked into the room. At some point someone had dragged me into another bed next to Draco. I lied on my side and stared at his perfect body, he didn't move. Suddenly I heard someone calling me, loud.
“Ann! Bloody hell, answer me!” The voice shouted and I snapped out from my numbness.
“W-w-w-w-hat?” I stammered quietly.
“We found something!” Blaise cried out and tried to get me out off the bed.
“Y-y-you did?!” I suddenly understood.
“Yes! You need to move. We are going to try counter spell now!” He ordered and Vicky helped me up.
“Come. They need us to leave now. It's some kind of stunning spell, similar to Avada, but not killing. Still it's very lethal.” She whispered and dragged me out from the room.
“W-w-what is Avada?” I asked confused.
“It's the killing curse.” Ginny answered and gave me a coffee mug. “You look like you need that.”
“T-t-thanks.” I muttered and took a sip from my coffee. “There's ginger in it.” I whispered.
“Yeah, and it's extra strong.” She beamed and I gave her a weak smile.
“You need to eat something.” Vicky worried and leaded me to the cafeteria. The same witch was there again and offered me some special pancakes and a huge plate of broccoli soup. We sat quietly by the window while I ate my soup. I didn't even realize how hungry I was.
“Thank you so much to both of you.” I said hesitantly after Id finished my huge dinner.
“That's what friends are for Ann.” Vicky smiled and hugged me.
“I haven't ever seen Draco so happy as he is with you. I have to say, that I even like him nowadays... a lot! Though he is Slytherin.” Ginny giggled and I smiled.
“And I'm muggle... He has changed, hasn't he?” I said and both of them nodded.
“Oh, I forgot. Here's some clean clothes... I went to get them for you, if you don't mind. I thought you might want to clean up a bit. There's a shower next to Draco's room.” Ginny smiled and offered me a plastic bag full of my clothes.
“Thanks! I really could use some shower...” I said and wrinkled my nose. Both of them laughed.
“I have a feeling that he will be alright.” Vicky said suddenly.
“I've dine lot of good luck spells and I also did one for Hermione...” Ginny admitted and I smiled for them.
“You are awesome!” I whispered and started to cry.
“Friends, remember?” Ginny said and hugged me.
“Yeah.” I gasped and felt Vicky's arms around us. We sat there a while and then I headed to take the very needed shower. After the shower and some clean pair of jeans and my soft grey hoodie I felt much better. I combed my light brown hair into a messy bun and left the bathroom a bit braver and happier. I took a deep breath and stepped into Draco's room. Hermione was there with Harry and Blaise measuring his heart beats. She looked calm and confident.
“Hey...” I said hesitantly.
“Oh, Ann! He is okay! Look! He is sleeping! He should be awake in couple of hours.” She beamed and I smiled. “Harry and Blaise found the spell or at least what it was like, so we managed to save him.”
“Oh... Oh...Thank you!” I cried out and rushed to hug her. She looked a bit embarrassed first, but then wrapped her arms around me and smiled.
“Harry and Blaise helped.” She reminded me and I beamed at them. I took Draco's arm and kissed his palm.
“You're going to be ok hun. I love you.” I whispered and suddenly I was alone in the room. I kissed his lips and felt the air coming through his lips. I kissed him again and suddenly he was responding. First I felt his lips move a bit and then a weak squeeze in my hand. “Draco?” I whispered and slowly he opened his grey eyes and stared at me.
“Ann...” He said quietly and I felt tears falling from my eyes.
“Draco... You're alive...I really thought that I lost you. Thank Merlin and Morgana, you're alive. I love you.” I whispered kissing him gently again.
“I love you too...” He said weakly and smiled lightly. “Could you get me some water, love?” He asked then.
“Of course.” I answered and looked at him lovingly.
“You look tired.” He said.
“I haven't slept much... I've been here the whole time.” I admitted.
“I'm sorry...” He mumbled.
“Don't. Just focus on getting better, ok?” I said and kissed him again and went to get the water. I rushed back as fast as could and found all our friends around him. I helped him drink while Ginny made the bed more comfortable for him to sit up.
“Stop fussing. I'm ok.” Draco growled when all of them were asking questions if his head hurt or if he was tired. I stood back and waited. “Ann?” He called me and I moved next to him while the others silently left the room.
“Hi.” I said and rested my chin on the edge of the bed.
“Hi. You cannot imagine how good it is to be able to look at you again and feel you near.” He whispered.
“I can. I missed your voice and your hands and your lips...” I whispered and he brushed my cheek gently with his fingers.
“Merlin, I will not ever go on these field tasks again.” He said and sighed.
“You have to... I mean, if...” I started but his familiar Malfoy smirk stopped my babbling.
“No I don't. Minister asked me to take the place as a supervisor. Like head of the department and aurors. I was going to tell you and others after Yule, but then this came up.” He beamed and I held my breath.
“Oh...Draco...Wow! That's great, right?!” I ensured and smiled widely.
“Yes. No more field work.” He said in a smug tone.
“Great!” I cried out and kissed him fiercely.
“Ann... ouch...” He laughed and I pulled back in horror.
“Oh no... Sorry! I didn't... are you ok?!” I panicked.
“Yes. Just a bit headache.” He amused and wrapped his arms around me. The door opened quietly and Hermione came in. She stood there and looked a bit uneasy.
“So... Since you're awake you should eat something Malfoy.” She said in a low voice.
“Herm.. What the fuck? What are you doing here?” Draco snarled and I wrapped his arm.
“Draco... She was the one to take care of you and one of the healers who saved you. Please, let the past go and be thankful for her being around. Ok?” I begged and his eyes melted when they met mine.
“So food then. When I'm able to leave this place?” He asked wryly.
“Tomorrow... But you'll need a wheelchair and some mild Skele-Gro potion with you.” She answered quietly and nodded at me. “And then bed rest for a week. After that you can go to work, but you cannot do anything reckless or something out there.”
“Ok. What's there to eat?” He asked looking at me.
“I'm not sure... I can always grab you something from some place else...” I offered but couldn't finish my sentence when Blaise stormed in with two large pizzas.
“Pizza guattro formaggio and tuna with garlic.” He grinned and Draco smiled.
“Great!” He beamed and Hermione vanished quietly through the door.
“I'll be right back.” I whispered to Draco's ear and hugged Blaise while heading out after Hermione.
I rushed after the bushy brown haired witch who strode forward fiercely. “Hermione!” I called after her. She stopped and turned around, she was crying.
“What?! I told you that he hates me!” She shrieked.
“I'm sorry... He really is an ass right now, but I know that he is grateful for what you did for him and for me. Please, give him some time.” I explained.
“I guess I'll just have to accept that then.” She sobbed.
“I'm sorry...” I whispered and hugged her.
“I'm ok. Go to him. He needs you. I'll check on you in the morning.” She said quietly and left. I stood there a while and then headed back to Draco's room.
“Everything ok, love?” Draco asked when I came back.
“Yeah. Hermione just took it quite bad. You were an ass, sorry, but really.” I said and took a slice of pizza.
“She is the one who cheated.” He reminded me wryly.
“I know. She was still doing her job here and saved your life. Please show some humanity and respect.” I hissed and glanced at Blaise who raised his eyebrows.
“She's right, sorry man.” He agreed.
“Fuck. Now I have to suck up my ex? Bloody hell I won't.” He growled and I glared at him.
“Stubborn.” I mumbled and took a huge bite from my slice.
“Yes, very.” He said and focused on his pizza.
“I mean why can't you...” I started, but his angry hiss made me stop.
“Ann! Drop it! I mean it!”
“Whoah...” I sighed and rolled my eyes.
“Do.Not.Start.” He warned me.
“I won't. I still don't get you.” I said.
“I told you to give it a rest!” He snarled.
“Ann, please.” Blaise warned and glanced at me.
“Ok! Gosh...” I sighed.
“Back to normal I assume.” Blaise smirked finally and I rolled my eyes.
“Yes.” Draco said and took another slice of pizza.
“Who was the stubborn here...” I mumbled and Draco glared at me.
“Ok, enough! You two should be cuddling and not shooting daggers at each others.” Blaise amused and I showed him my tongue.
“Sorry. Ann, please?” Draco begged with a soft voice looking at me with his amazing grey eyes.
“Hmph... You're impossible!” I whined and still couldn't hide my smile. He was so adorable and damn hot. “Fine.”
“That's my girl.” He smirked and I tucked my tongue out again.
“She's spicy.” Blaise pointed out.
“Yes. And that's why I love her.” Draco said gently and smiled at me.
“And she's standing here.” I reminded and grimaced. Our argument was interrupted when Vicky stormed in with Ginny on her heels. Harry stepped behind them a bit calmer.
“Oh, good, you're eating.” Vicky smiled and showed us a box of cupcakes.
“Lucky cupcakes?” I guessed.
“Yes. The lady from the cafeteria insisted.” She beamed.
“I want the blackberry one! And the cinnamon for the patient.” I announced and smirked.
“Yes ma'am.” Vicky laughed and handed us the delicious goods.
“Let's see...” I mumbled and took a bite. “Passion and love, it says.” I said satisfied.
“I bet, they'll say all that.” Ginny whined and I grinned.
“Passion and love.” Draco announced and turned his eyes on me. I kissed him softly.
“Marriage.” Vicky gasped and looked at Blaise who gulped.
“Marriage...” He said quietly and Draco laughed.
“Children.” Ginny announced and Harry smiled widely.
“Same here.”
“Interesting... So, when is the date?” I teased Blaise, who glared at me.

We ate the cupcakes in silence and then all of them said good night to us and left. I decided to sleep without my hoodie and jeans and crawled under the sheets of my bed, which had appeared next to Draco's again.
“Good night, love.” He whispered softly and I yawned.
“Sweet dreams.” I whispered and fell asleep. The hospital bed wasn't the most pleasant one, but I wasn't going to leave until I got to get him with me.

Draco didn't love the wheelchair much as I already assumed, so I was trying to make his journey back home as pleasant as possible. We were obliged to take a taxi back to the manor and he whined all the way.
“C'mon, it's only a few minutes. Are you planning on being grumpy all the time?” I asked a bit irritated,
“Yes, if I get bored.” He amused and I sighed.
“Then I'll have to figure out some way to keep you satisfied.” I said quietly.
“I know couple of things...” He murmured and bit my earlobe.
“You know the rules; no rough movements. It means no sex.” I announced and he glared at me.
“Cruel.” He hissed.
“A bit... But, I'll find a way to keep you satisfied.” I smirked and his smile was like an angel's again.”I missed that smile.” I whispered and kissed him.
“I missed you.” He said softly, and smiled when the taxi finally drove front of the manor. “Home sweet home.”
“Need some help, or are you able to stand?” Taxi driver asked.
“I'm fine.” Draco said wryly. He really hated all the fussing around him. Slowly he got out from the car, gave his muggle credit card to the driver and sat down on the wheelchair. I pushed him inside and he charmed the chair so that it moved him where he wanted to.
“I hate this.” He said after a while. “I hate being so helpless here. I'm not used to it.”
“I know... But you'll be on your feet soon.” I said and hugged him.
“And I can't stand being near you without feeling you close. If you know what I mean..” He sighed.
“I know that too.” I said and kissed him gently. “You need to take your Skele-Gro...”
“Whoah. Ok then.” He gasped and rolled his eyes in frustration.

Magic pt. 6

I woke up in the middle of the night and heard giggling from downstairs. I wrapped my morning gown around me and tiptoed downstairs. Ginny and Vicky were sitting on the kitchen counter eating the chocolate pudding with large spoons.
“Hey, a midnight snack?” I whispered and they giggled.
“Yeah.” Vicky smirked and handed me a spoon. Suddenly we heard the crash and a weird looking little gnome Flooed in looking shaky and scared.
“Dippy, what is it?” Vicky asked for the creature.
“Sorry to interrupt your Yule feast Miss Ripley, but they need the Aurors immediately, Mr. Potter, Malfoy and Zabini.” He explained quickly and stared at his feet.
“Dippy, this is Ann, Mr. Malfoys girlfriend, she will give you some snack, while I woke up Mr. Malfoy and the others.” Vicky said and disappeared upstairs.
“Dippy...would you like some pudding?” I asked for the creature, who beamed.
“Dippy would like it very much Miss Ann.” The elf said and grabbed the spoon. Ginny smiled and rushed upstairs. A minute later Draco and others came downstairs fully dressed.
“Ok, Dippy let's go. Ginny, will you stay with Ann?” Harry asked and she nodded.
“I'll be back as soon as possible, love. I love you.” Draco murmured into my ear and kissed me gently. Then they all disappeared into the green flames.

I couldn't help my self from worrying and Ginny was doing her best to calm me down. We started to watch a movie and I was able to concentrate on that one for a couple of hours. We both tried to relax, but hours seemed to drag and I couldn't close my eyes. I had a bad feeling that something had happened, something bad. I fell asleep around five o'clock and woke up for a crash. Vicky came in from the Floo. She looked pale and scared.
“You need to come with me...Both of you.” She whispered and took my hand. I looked at Ginny who gulped.
“Where are we going?” She asked and Vicky gulped.
“Damn it Vic, tell us! What happened?!” I shrieked and she looked down and started to cry.
“They... It was... Dark magic... The Aurors tried to stop them, but they got hit... Draco...Harry is... Blaise tried to... It's horrible!” She cried and Ginny screamed. I just stood there and shivered, I felt the pain in my chest when I tried to breathe. We Flooed to the St.Mungo's hospital and found pale looking Harry from the waiting room with a nasty bruise on his forehead.
“Harry, Harry, what happened?!” Ginny shrieked and rushed to hug his husband.
“Some Dark wizards decided to act nasty. Draco got hit while saving me and Blaise. He is unconscious and has several broken bones. Healers are with him right now. Blaise has a broken arm and a concussion, but otherwise he's ok.” He explained and I felt my knees giving up.
“Ann... It's ok, he'll be alright.” Vicky whispered and I began to sob.
“Hermione is there... She is the most talented healer ever. She might have personal problems with Draco, but she will do everything she can to save him.” Ginny whispered and petted my back.
“I want to see him.” I whispered and Ginny nodded. The leaded me to the fourth floor. I took a deep breath when I walked into the room. He was lying under the white sheets and looked pale and hurt. I gulped and took his arm carefully.
“What is that muggle doing here?” A sharp voice asked and Ginny turned around.
“Herm...She's his girlfriend.” She explained and I felt the tension in the room.
“I see. Well, he is unconscious and has a broken leg and a broken wrist. We gave him some Skele-Gro potion and removed the curse, but we didn't want to make his condition worse, so he should be unconscious a while to prevent any brain damage.” She explained and came to check Draco's pulse.
“Will he woke up?” I asked in a low voice.
“He will... But I'm not sure in what condition.” Hermione admitted.
“Thank you. I know you hate me and dislike him, but please... Please save him.” I begged and tears began to run from my eyes.
“You love him...” Hermione whispered.
“I do...” I gasped.
“And I could see that he feels the same about you. You know, you're the one for him... I'm sorry to treat you like a crap.” She said quietly and then started to walk away.
“Hermione... I... thank you...” I gasped and she nodded.
“Just doing my job.” She said and disappeared through the door. Ginny stood in silence while I stared at my unconscious boyfriend and sobbed.
“You know, that was very big thing from Hermione to apologize.” She said finally.
“I know... And I'm grateful for her to being around. I really hope that Draco will survive... I mean the brain damage...” I whispered and she hugged me gently. I heard the door open and Blaise came in with a plaster on his arm and Harry followed him. Vicky came in minutes later with a steaming mug in her hands.
“Here. Drink this.” She said and squeezed me gently.
“Thanks...” I said and took a sip from the mug. It was some sort of herb drink, obviously for calming me down. I looked at Vicky gratefully.
“How is he?” Blaise asked quietly.
“Unconscious. They cannot wake him up yet... brain damage.” I whispered and Ginny started to sob.
“What happened back there?” Ginny asked quietly.
“We went to check the old church in Chelsea and there was some young wizards gathering. They were using dark magic and had released some dark creatures which killed two muggles and two witches during the night. They had also some strong black magic and we got ambushed. Draco got a hit from an unknown spell while he saved me and Blaise.” Harry explained and buried his face into his hands.”We were stupid and we weren't ready... Draco had stupefied three of them, but they managed to make some sort of burst and he took it all...”
“Harry... It's not your fault... Draco saved you and Blaise and that's what friends do... I don't blame you and you shouldn't blame yourself.” I said quietly and touched his head gently. Ginny looked at me and nodded.
“Will you stay here or want us to escort you back to the manor?” Vicky asked quietly.
“I will stay here. If you could bring me something else to wear...” I asked and she looked at my wrinkled gown.
“Oh, sorry, of course. I'll be right back.” She smiled a bit and disappeared.
“Ask Hermione to send a message, if you need anything ok? We will come back later. Are you sure, you're ok?” Ginny worried and I nodded.
“I'll be fine...”
“Ann... I'm sorry.” Blaise muttered and hugged me.
“It's ok. He will be alright...” I whispered and started to cry again. They all looked at me sadly and I gestured them to go. Vicky came back with my jeans and shirt and some other stuff I might need during my stay at the hospital. I hugged her and then closed the door. I slumped to the large armchair and stared at the Draco's pale and broken figure. I just wished that he would woke up and everything would be ok.

I woke up to a small nudge on my shoulder.
“Hi... You've been sleeping six hours... You should get something to eat.” Hermione said and measured me with her brown eyes.
“Oh.. Yeah... Where's...” I stammered a bit confused.
“The cafeteria is on the fifth floor.” She said and smiled lightly.
“Thanks. Is he any better?” I asked quietly.
“His bones had begun to heel and I believe his brain pressure is normal at the moment.... Sorry, but I cannot give you any further information. We don't actually know what kind of curse hit him...” She apologized and I nodded.
“Thanks anyway...” I whispered and headed out from the room. My mind was blank when I found the elevator and told it to take me to the fifth floor. I grabbed a large mug of coffee, a huge tuna sandwich and sat down next to a window. I saw some colorful butterflies playing across the window and the glass switched its color every half an hour., it was charmed of course, but I noticed that the window had changed its color three times and I realized that should get back to Draco's room. I grabbed the tray and put it into the carriage and headed back to the elevator. It was quite quiet and all the other customers seemed to be witches and wizards. They didn't notice me when I dragged myself back to the fourth floor. I stopped at the door when I saw my boyfriend floating up in the air with blue lights circling around him. There were three other healers with Hermione who mumbled something with wands in their hands. I stood at the doorway stunned and stared at the sight. Slowly they let his body float back down on the bed and the lights disappeared.
“Oh... Ann... We discovered the curse and tried to fix everything we could.” Hermione explained when she saw me standing at the doorway.
“And?” I asked quietly.
“He will wake up in three days.” She answered.
“Will he be... I mean... The brain?” I stammered weakly.
“Yes, he will probably be ok, but will suffer some headache a while.” She smiled lightly and squeezed my shoulder gently.
“Thank you. All of you.” I smiled weakly and walked towards Draco's bed. I took his hand again and whispered into his ear. I heard the door closing behind me. “Draco, please wake up... I miss you, I need you. I feel so lonely without you. Please, don't die, I love you...” I brushed my fingers through his hair and petted his cheek gently. I leaned forward with tear drops running from my eyes, I kissed him. He didn't move, but I knew that he could hear me. I kissed his forehead gently and went back to my armchair and tried to focus on the History of wizards, that I'd started to read at the manor. I managed to focus on the book for three hours and read nearly 200 pages when my eyes started to feel heavy again. I glanced at the clock on the wall, it was nearly eight. I fell asleep again. It wasn't the most pleasant dream I had and I woke up to my scream several hours later. I heard someone beside me.
“Lumos.” A female voice whispered and I saw a small light in the dark, Hermione's face next to me. “Are you ok? I heard you scream...I was on patrol, night shift you know...”
“I...I'm ok, just a nighmare. Sorry to bother you...” I whispered.
“Would you like some herbs to make you sleep better?” She asked gently.
“I guess that would be nice, if it's not too much trouble...” I hesitated.
“Not at all, I'll be right back.” She smiled a bit and rushed out from the room. I sighed and closed my eyes leaning my head against the armchair. She was back in a minute with a warm mug in her hands.
“Thanks.” I whispered her.
“Drink it. Here's a blanket for you.” She offered and I smiled at her.
“Thank you for being so nice to me.” I said quietly.
“I have to. This is my job and I can't let personal feelings disturb my working. Besides I'm not mad at you or Draco. I just hate how he treats me, but I guess I deserve it.” She sighed.
“Yeah, he is pretty pissed at you. Sorry... I kind of found it hard to like you at first, but we are much alike. I can see why he started to date you in a first place. You're happy with Ron?” I asked suddenly. She looked at me for a while and answered then with a light smile on her face.
“I am. We're getting married next summer. And I'm pregnant.”
“Oh! That's wonderful! Congrats!” I smiled and she blushed.
“Tell me, how did you met Draco? I mean, you're not from here...” She asked hesitantly.
“Well... Let's say that faith and miserable life brought us together. He just offered me something else and I kind of decided to act impulsive... Like I always do.” I laughed a bit.
“Sounds like Draco.” She grinned.
“Yeah. I really do love him. He is an ass sometimes, but underneath he is the most sensitive and caring man I've ever met. And funny too!” I smiled and looked at the bed were he was lying unconscious. I felt the pain in my chest again and gasped. The sadness melted into my mind and I felt the same empty feeling again.
“Are you ok?” Hermione worried.
“Yes. It just hurts to see him like that...So fragile.” I whispered and she nodded.
“Now you should get some sleep. I will wake you up if something happens. Nox.” She assured and let her wand diminish.
“Thank you Hermione.” I whispered and felt her arm on my shoulder. I fell asleep again.

A dim light shined to my eye when I woke up again. It was morning, or afternoon, I wasn't sure. I rose up and tossed the blanket aside. I stretched my stiffened legs a bit and stepped to see Draco, who was still pale and lying still. I kissed his lips and murmured into his ear. “Morning love.”
Then I took my bag and went to get some coffee and breakfast. My stomach literally screamed for food. I glanced at the clock on the wall it was four in the afternoon. I had slept over eighteen hours, probably because of the drink Hermione gave me. The witch at the cafeteria smiled at me and gave a fresh blackberry cupcake, to bring luck. I thanked and took my tray to the same table I'd sat before. I ate my rolls and pancakes in silence and took huge sips from my latte. I took a huge bite from the cupcake, when something sparkling rolled out from it, it was a word, written with small sparkling letters into air; “Faith” it said. I looked at it and then glanced towards the counter where the witch smiled at me like she knew what was going on. I smiled at her weakly and turned my eyes back to the cupcake, the word was gone. It was like a fortune cookie with magic, I really needed faith and some damn good luck.

After finishing my magical breakfast I headed back to the Draco's room, there was full chaos. I saw Draco's body spasming in the air and healers around him trying to made him stop. Hermione shrieked instructions and I felt Blaise's arms around my shoulders.
“Ann, you don't need to see this. Come.” He said calmly and leaded me back to the cafeteria upstairs.
“Are you ok?” Vicky worried and gave me a hug.
“I... He... Oh god...” I sobbed and buried my face against Blaise's chest.
“It's gonna be ok.” He said quietly and petted my back. “Vic, get some tea for Ann.”
“Ok. The relaxing one?” She ensured and I felt Blaise nod. They guided me to sit and Vicky made me drink some herb tea again. I cried silently and stared blankly out from the blue window.
“He is going to die, isn't he?” I asked quietly.
“We cannot be sure about anything... We haven't been able to find the missing book the dark ones used...” Blaise admitted.
“Have you tried the Malfoy's library at the manor, there might be hints...?” I asked blankly.
“The... Bloody hell! Why didn't I think of that one! Ann, you're genius!” Blaise cheered suddenly and stood up.”I need to go! Vic, love, will you stay with Ann? I'll ask Ginny to get here too. I need Potter!”
“Go! I'll watch her.” Vicky hurried and kissed him quickly. Blaise hurried to the elevator and disappeared downstairs. Ginny appeared minutes later and rushed straight to us.
“I heard! What happened?! Is Hermione there? Where's Blaise?!” She babbled and looked frightened.
“Blaise went to get Harry. They will go to the manor to find out about the curse that had been used on Draco.” Vicky explained.
“Okay. Is Ann ok?” She asked and hugged me gently.
“I am... Just scared.” I whispered and looked at her. Her eyes were suddenly full of tears and I wrapped my arms around her neck and together we cried. Vicky hugged us and sobbed silently.
“Krhm... Miss Granger send me to tell you, that Mr. Malfoy is stable now.” A chubby blond witch explained and waited us to calm down.
“Thank you.” Vicky whispered and I lifted my head.
“He is... sleeping again?” I gasped.
“Yes. You may go and see him now.” The witch continued and headed towards the elevator. We stood up and followed her. As we got to the room everything was silent again. Hermione stood beside Draco's bed and waited for us to step in.
“I'm so sorry Ann... He is stable again. We really need to find the curse, otherwise I think there ain't much hope for him... I'm sorry...” She said and laid her eyes down.
“Blaise and Harry went to look for some info, I'm sure there will be...” I started but stopped when I saw Hermione's hopeless eyes.”Oh... I...” And then tears run out from my eyes again. My knees gave up and I slumped to the floor.
“Ann...” Vicky whispered and wrapped her arms around me.
“Hermione, there has to be something we can do!” Ginny said helpless.
“I will go through all the books, but without that missing spell book of Merwyn The Malicious we are practically blind here.” She admitted and squeezed Ginny's shoulder while leaving us alone.
“I hope Harry and Blaise will find something...” Vicky whispered and lifted me up from the floor.
“Hope is all we got.” Ginny sighed and helped Vicky to put me into the armchair again.
“Ann. Ann!” Vicky whispered and tried to make me react.
“Let her be. We need to help Harry and Blaise.” Ginny said calmly and they left me under the blanket.

I felt totally numb and just sat there staring at Draco's stony body on the bed. I couldn't believe that he might be dead. I kept wishing that he would open his eyes and look at me. Hours dragged, but nothing happened. The room was quiet and Draco didn't move.

Back at the manor we decided to open another bottle of wine, the very same label we had after the match. I brought the bottle from work for special occasions. Draco's hand lingered around my waist every time I stood up or moved from the couch.
“Something on your mind Slytherin Sex God?” I teased quietly.
“Indeed.” He said with a husky voice and kissed my neck.
“We've got company, behave!” I gasped, but my eyes told him that he would get what he wanted, later.
“Mmm... Promise?” He said with that sexy tone that would definitely turn me on.
“I promise.” I kissed him and squirmed away from his grip and rushed back to the living room.
“Obviously something in the air.” Blaise smirked from the couch.
“I've got totally irresistible woman here, so don't be stupid Blaise, of course I've got something on my mind.” Draco smirked back at him.
“How nice of you talking about me like I was just some shag.” I sneered, but couldn't hide my smile.
“Guys, enough!” Vicky laughed and grinned.
“How come it always comes to this?” I giggled and Draco smirked that sexy smirk in a Malfoyish way I knew so well.
“Because Malfoy is totally hooked. Are you sure you're not a witch Ann?” Blaise asked with a amused tone. “He is a softy nowadays.”
“Haha, good one.” Draco answered and glanced at Blaise.
“You are really... Boss.” Vicky smiled at him.
“Well, I'm tired of being a bad ass all the time. So I'm using my charm and being very irresistible, me.” He amused.
“So who's the wizard here?” I glanced lovingly at him and sat on his lap.
“I am. And a great one, but you are the goddess here.” He said with a husky voice and pet my side lightly.
“Ok, so what are you going to do on Yule?” Vicky asked suddenly.
“Oh... I haven't thought about it...” I sighed.
“We could gather here to eat and stuff.” She suggested.
“That's a wonderful idea! But hey Vic, we need to shop some clothes for me and stuff, can we do it on Monday after work? I'm having a morning shift.” I beamed.
“Yeah, sure. Meet me at the Buck's after your work? If my boss allow me to leave after three o'clock?” She amused and looked at Draco.
“You can leave at three, we are having a long meeting anyway on Monday.” He laughed and I smirked.
“It's a deal then!” Vicky cheered and Blaise smiled at her lovingly.

It was nearly midnight when Blaise and Vicky said goodbye to us and Draco carried me upstairs.
“You promised me something, love.” He murmured into my ear while his reckless hands dove under my shirt and started to remove my bra. I closed my eyes and sighed. Slowly his presence and his soft voice filled up my head and every cell. He was everywhere, making love to me gently and then rougher. The air was filled with lust and moans.
“Oh god Draco...” I moaned when he finally slumped on me panting heavily.
“Holy Merlin and Morgana.... Woman, you drive me crazy.” He panted and rolled next to me grabbing me into his embrace.
“Hmm... That was very high of you Mr. Malfoy. According to your reputation, that was very very high compliment from you.” I teased and he blushed.
“Don't be so modest. I just love to be with you. You are more than any of those witches I've been with.” He admitted and kissed my hair.
“Hmh... You think so? I'm just me. It feels so good to be with you, I can be myself.” I mumbled and looked up to kiss his lips.
“I feel alive with you. Thanks for being around.” He whispered and kissed me back.
“Don't thank me. Just be who you are. I love you.” I whispered and snuggled closer.
“Love you too. More than you know.” He mumbled and turned off the light with a small wave of his hand. I sighed and smiled in the darkness. Again I fell asleep in the arms of my prince.

It was Yule morning, the 21st of December, when I woke up at six o'clock and couldn't get sleep anymore. I sneaked up from the bed and glanced Draco, who slept on his back, his platinum messy hair on his eyes. I smiled; he was so damn gorgeous and he was mine. I put the dark blue morning gown on and tiptoed downstairs. Our Christmas tree sparkled in gold and red in the living room and there was three golden wrapped presents under it. I used Draco's wand to lit the fire into the fireplace, he had taught me that easy little spell, but it was all I could or want to do. I went to the kitchen and turned on the coffeemaker that I'd put ready last night. I decided to put some cinnamon and cardamom to it as well. I felt bubbly and very christmassy. I was so happy that Draco and others spend their christmas like me; not on 25th but on 21st. I watched small snowflakes dancing down while the coffeemaker made my christmas coffee ready. I decided to make cinnamon pancakes also, because Draco just loved my pancakes, and I loved to cook everything myself, starting from the scratch. Draco and Blaise usually used simple spells to make something simple to eat, but I loved to do it in a traditional way and usually Vicky liked to watch me cooking, and to learn how to make certain things. I had promised to cook them and Vicky offered to help. I was also delighted to hear that Harry and Ginny were invited, since I really liked them. It was an open invitation, so that Ron and Hermione could join us, but they decided to go to the Weasley's for a obvious reason. Theodore Nott was also coming, but without Pansy, who couldn't be around Draco. I was so happy having my friends around me and loved the new dress Vicky helped me to buy from the Diagon Alley, just to please my handsome boyfriend. My gown was made of silk and it was red as a ruby. I also bought new lingerie with it and red heels.

I read the Daily Prophet just for a curiosity's sake, like I always did, and then move on to a local newspaper.
“What's that smell?” I heard the familiar husky voice from the stairs.
“Christmas.” I beamed.
“Pancakes?” He smiled like a little boy in a sweet shop. I giggled to his adorable smile and messy hair. He was wearing his grey striped flannel pants and black morning gown and looked absolutely gorgeous.
“Pancakes with cinnamon and maple syrup. And of course christmas special coffee.” I smiled and his eyes sparkled.
“Woman, I love you.” He breathed and took a plate full of pancakes.
“You're so cute.” I giggled and he glared at me and smirked. “And I love you too.”
“Don't tell anyone. It would ruin my reputation.” He whispered and I grinned. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed his neck while he wolfed the pancakes with huge bites.
“Poor Draco, all soft now.” I teased and he grabbed me and rolled into his lap.
“I will show you how soft, if you dare to expose my soft spots.” He growled and kissed me fiercely.
“Oh, threatening are we?” I challenged.
“Yes. I can be dangerous when annoyed.” He said with a low voice and I gulped. “But you're mine and I will not harm you ever. I cannot, because I feel for you.” He continued softly.
“What if someday I will across the line? You will hex me?” I whispered a bit annoyed.
“That won't happen, love.” He murmured and squeezed me gently against his chest.
“Are you sure? I saw your feelings towards Pans and Hermione...” I continued.
“Enough!” He growled and his eyes flashed dangerously. “Please, let's not talk about it. I love you, ok?” He sighed.
“Sorry. I didn't mean to annoy you.” I whispered and hugged him.
“And I wasn't suppose to lose my temper. Though you obviously love to push the limits.” He said.
“Well, I know, bad habit.” I admitted.
“Yes. Annoying. But still, you are the most adorable and beautiful and damn hot.” He said with a much more calmer voice.
“And you've got poisonous temper mister.” I said and kissed his jaw.
“So I've told.” He said wryly and took another cup of coffee.
“Enough Draco, please. Sorry.” I begged softly and petted his face. “Ok? It's Yule. Please?”
“Stop begging, I'm ok.” He said a bit irritated and so I decided to leave him alone for a while.

It was our first fight and I felt uneasy, because I did know his temper and all of his dark sides. I left the kitchen and went to the library and sat down. I had started to read some history about the wizards and decided to continue it a bit. After two hours I heard Draco's steps from the corridor. He stepped in and run his hand through his hair and looked a bit uneasy. I lifted my eyes from the book and waited.
“I..I'm...” He started and paced uncomfortably back and forward.
“Yes?” I asked, trying to keep my tone steady.
“Look, I'm not good at this. I'm fucking Malfoy and I've raised to be an arrogant bastard, and I usually do not care who I hurt... Usually I don't, but I can't stand to see you hurt or bad mood because of me. Ann...” He blurted and looked at me under his brows hesitantly. “I just... I don't know what I'm supposed to do.”
“For a start; stop being so sensitive and stop treating me like I'm bloody porcelain doll. I'm not a witch, but I'm still strong and stubborn as you. And you could say you're sorry at first.” I glared at him and he switched his position again.
“I'm sorry.” He said and glanced at me.
“And I'm sorry I pushed you.” I said with a soft voice. He came to sit next to me and dangled his head between his knees.
“Fuck... I suck in these things... I... I love you.” He said quietly without raising his head. I petted his head and finally wrapped my arms around him.
“Stop. It was stupid. I love you too.” I whispered and he raised his eyes to look at me.
“You know, you're the first one to make me feel this miserable.” He said quietly and kissed me.
“That's good then?” I murmured against his soft lips.
“Yes. It means that I really feel for you, that I'm really in love with you.” He answered and kissed me rougher.
“So, your stone cold heart beats then?” I teased and smirked a little.
“Yes. You've melted it. You witch.” He smirked and hugged me.
“So, you're ok then?” I asked carefully.
“I am, if you are.” He answered and traced his fingers across my back. I shivered.
“I am.” I gasped and closed my eyes.
“You're beautiful.” He purred kissing my neck, my eyelids and cheeks all the way down to my collarbone. I smiled eyes still closed. We made up, and suddenly I was lying naked under him in the middle of the library floor. He was again all over me, but this time I took the lead and rolled top of him. He looked a bit surprised but smirked with enthusiasm. Slowly I traced my hands across his muscular chest and my nails made him groan with desire. We started to move in sync and he just answered to my moves with a deep thrust. I moaned and panted. Suddenly I heard the familiar crash from the living room; the Floo. Draco's eyes snapped to the door and he found his wand which flied across the air straight to his hand. With a small wave he locked the door and casted a silencing charm over us.
“Scream as much as you like.” He grinned and rolled on top of me. Roughly he thrust again inside me and I moaned in pleasure. We made love roughly and I was totally melting into his arms. Each thrust took me closer to the overwhelming ecstasy. And then I reached the top and the fireworks inside me began, I screamed his name and panted heavily. With a groan he followed me.

After a while I was panting in sweat under him, and his hot breaths tickled my neck.
“Can we fight more often?” I asked and smiled an evilish smile.
“Yes.” He said and smirked. He rolled off me and started to put his pants back on. I grabbed the morning robe and wrap it around me tightly.
“Shall we?” I grinned and he removed the spell and opened the door. I coughed and walked to the living room like nothing happened. “Hi guys!” I greeted and excused myself to put something more suitable on. Draco came after me five minutes later.
“They knew.” He said casually and went to the bathroom. I followed him and together we took a cool shower. I felt his hands around me and hoped that we could start again, but I knew that we had a whole night ahead us, so I controlled myself.

Draco was already dressed, when I got out from the bathroom after finishing my make-up. He was wearing black and burgundy pinstripe trousers and a burgundy shirt, which sleeves were rolled up. His platinum hair wasn't like the usual business look, it was a bit messy and waxed up. I smiled at the sight and caught a glance from him when he smirked and hurried downstairs. Vicky came in a minute later to do my hair and help me to get dressed. She was amazing hair dresser, obviously because of the wand and some spells. Together we walked downstairs and caught a line of men staring at us. They were all smiling widely, but my eyes were totally focused on those amazing grey eyes that stared at me full of love and passion.
“Wow... Our ladies have exceeded all the expectations.” Blaise sighed and smiled at us.
“Indeed.” Draco murmured and took my hand. I bet he hadn't even seen Vicky while he was staring at me. They escorted us to the living room and at the same time Harry and Ginny Flooed in.
“Merry Yule everyone.” Harry greeted and Ginny smiled. She was wearing a green satin gown and looked stunning. She didn't recognize me first, but her eyes widened when I opened my mouth.
“Welcome, it's so great to have you all here.” I beamed and gave them glasses.
“Ann... You've shopped at the Diagon Alley? That gown is beautiful on you.” She sighed and I nodded.
“I helped her to pick it up, but that make-up is her own do. She's pro at that area.” Vicky admired and I blushed.
“I think we've got the most stunning women here tonight.” Blaise smirked and Harry nodded smiling.
“Well, ladies, if you want to leave guys to talk about Quidditch, you're welcome to join me in the kitchen. I've got an excellent bottle of red wine there.” I said and headed towards kitchen. Vicky and Ginny joined me and we left men to talk about politics and Quidditch.
“You're planning on making food by yourself?” Ginny asked when I put my apron on and started to work.
“Yeah... I cannot hex remember? Muggle.” I laughed and she giggled.
“We can help a bit... I mean to chop things, you know?” She offered.
“That would be nice, thanks.” I agreed and suddenly there was two knives doing their work; chopping carrots and tomatoes, while Ginny and Vicky were just chatting. I was actually delighted to have some magic around when I was cooking dinner to a mass of people.

After two hours the dinner was ready and Ginny floated the dishes into the dining room while Vicky set the table and lit the candles, and all that with a wave of a wand of course. Guys had already started the firewhiskey bottle while we had drank the whole red wine. Lucky us, Draco had a huge storage full of beverages.
“Well, well...Lucky you Malfoy, your girlfriend seems to have a talent in kitchen... And obviously some place else as well.” Blaise grinned and I glared at him.
“Yes. She is a witch.” Draco smirked and winked at me.
“This looks amazing Ann.” Harry smiled at me.
“Thank you. So, Merry Yule everyone!” I beamed and raised my glass.
“Merry Yule!” Everyone cheered and started to eat.

After the meal we moved to the living room and shared our gifts. I got a Slytherin scarf from Ginny and Harry.
“It's for the Quidditch games.” Harry explained and grinned.
“Thanks!” I smirked and Draco laughed.
“Open this.” Draco said and glanced at me meaningfully. I looked at him and opened the small silver box.
“Oh... Merlin!” I gasped and made everyone laugh.”It's... Wow... Beautiful.”
“It belonged to my mother.” He said softly and helped me to put on the beautiful ruby pendant. It was very simple; it was cut like a drop and it hung on a thin white gold chain which ended just above my cleavage.
“Thank you, love.” I whispered and kissed him. He opened my present next and looked at me with widened eyes.
“What... You... “ He stammered.
“It was Harry's idea... Blaise helped me.” I explained smiling.
“Yeah, that's the Golden Snitch you caught in the first Quidditch match that Slytherin won.” Blaise explained and smirked.
“Thank you. Both of you.” Draco finally managed to say and looked at me with a look I'd never seen before. He leaned towards me and kissed me longingly and gently. The Snitch sprinted around the glass cube where it was captured.
“Here's the other one.” I said and gave him a small box.
“Another?” He confused.
“Yes, that Snitch was from me Blaise and Vicky.” I smiled. He opened the small box and smiled when he lifted the white gold snake ring from it. The snake was charmed and it squirmed around when he put it into his left middle finger.
“Love it. And you.” He said and kissed me again.
“Ok, enough for that sweet sugarcoated murmuring.” Blaise finally said and poured some wine to all girls and firewhiskey for the guys.
“Hey, you haven't opened yours!” Vicky shouted and tossed a strange looking box towards her boyfriend.
“Let's see.” Blaise muttered with an enthusiasm. His eyes narrowed and Vicky laughed when he found a pair of black leather gloves inside the box.
“There's your name in them in silver, so that they won't get lost again.” She amused and Blaise groaned.
“Women!” He smirked. Harry and Ginny had opened their presents and Ginny was in tears when harry put the beautiful diamond bracelet into her delicate wrist. Draco and I had bought Harry a new broom and he couldn't wait to go test it. Everyone were happy with their presents and the evening continued with a cheerful chat. Draco never left by my side, his arm was around my shoulders and he was murmuring sweet words into my ear time to time. The whole gang stayed over the night when we realized that it was quite late.
